| Events |
The Trustees of the Yasin Foundation have been greatly assisted by a small but energetic Fund-Raising Committee. Events organized to date have included:
|
| Cookery Demonstrations |
 |
|
Two Cookery demonstrations have been held in Dublin. The first was in October 2007 and was by Nausheen Ahmad. The second, in October 2008, was by Razia Bari and Farah Bari; both events were extremely enjoyable and there is great demand for more demonstrations of this kind, especially from the Irish and other non-Pakistani 'Friends of the Foundation'. Please let us know if you are interested!

| A Sale of Pearls |
 |
| A sale of Pearls and other Asian
jewellery was held in December 2007; and again many 'Friends of the
Foundation' supported this enjoyable event. A display of Pakistani
jewellery was also a feature of the major fund-raising event held on

| A Lunch Time Event |
|
This was attended by some 260 people, of many different nationalities, who enjoyed a pleasant lunch in Dublin's Four Seasons Hotel; interspersed with Irish music; short speeches by Pakistan's Ambassador to Ireland, Mrs. Naghmana Hashmi, Ireland's
then Minister for Integration, Mr. Conor Lenihan and Rosheen Callender (a Trustee of the Foundation); a display of Pakistani fashions and jewellery; and rounded off by some stunning Punjabi dancing.

The main fund-raising event in 2009 -'From Sligo to Sialkot'-
featured Pakistan's 'Undisputed Queen of Melody' Tina Sani, plus a number of
other singers and musicians from Ireland and Pakistan-see 'Tina Sani in Ireland' for
pictures and more information on this unique intercultural occasion.
Both the 2008 and 2009 lunchtime events proved very successful, both socially and financially, and the Trustees and Fund-raising Committee hope to organize similar events in the future, bringing together people from Ireland, Pakistan and many other countries, to enjoy leisurely meals together and to combine elements of Irish and Pakistani music, song, dance, poetry, fashion and culture of all kinds.
